Path of Life, in Fossil Walrus Ivory

This carving is based on the koru (an unfurling fern frond), and it represents the path that each of us takes in life. From simple beginnings, our lives gather depth and meaning as we travel, learn, and experience. In general, the koru represents growth, life, peace, the search for knowledge and new beginnings.

Like most of my carvings, this design is carved in the round and can be worn with either side facing out. The "fossil" walrus ivory of this piece displays a dramatic color difference on each side and can be worn with either side showing.
