This form links two korus together (notice the negative space of the carving), which symbolizes connection and growing together. In addition, this carving incorporates two stylized hands which symbolize the support we draw from, and give to, other people along our life’s journey. This carving is made from “fossil” walrus ivory which is around 2,000 – 3,000 years old.
