This carving was inspired by watching two friends raise their child. It represents the kinetic energy and the explosion of life that comes with children. This design embodies the parent-child connection. Parents guarding a child, imparting knowledge and protection. A child brings complexity, joy, and movement. The Maoris say that "tamariki (children) are as slippery as eels."
